The Visitor Center project is inspired by Astrup’s poetics, interpreting his figurative and symbolic language as a metaphor for the cyclical transformation of living matter. The concept unites primordial nature, traditional architecture, and the garden as an open-air laboratory, creating spaces that stimulate observation, reflection, and communion among living beings. The building is harmoniously inserted into the landscape with two distinct volumes: a stone base that interacts with the terrain and a lightweight wooden volume open to the panorama. Paths, terraces, semi-natural amphitheaters, and rest areas guide visitors through changing perspectives and atmospheres, mediating the relationship between humans, art, and nature.
